THEY DID IT, THEY REALLY DID IT

They really stretch the final attack for another episode. I think the real Gomu Gomu no mi eater is in Toei

Marktherapist • 8 months ago

For another episode? You understimate Toei, next episode we will probably still not see Luffy beat Kaido

VicThor • 8 months ago

Next episode we still won't see it? You understimate Toei, they will probably stretch it to end of this year

unknown unknown • 8 months ago

Quickly guys! help me make the spirit bomb!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~

sneakykillsNL • 8 months ago

really u compare dbz to this ? the kaido fight has been as long as the start of DBZ to the freeza fight xD

The Spirit Bomb literally killed all my excitement back then lol and this is walking the same path.

banana55 • 8 months ago

I never did forgive DBFor doing this. Seems like my fav anime is falling to the same trope

Coldplay23 • 8 months ago

yup, my fave as well, but man all the filler and flashbacks can sure kill the hype and execution of the story

Andika Dwi • 8 months ago

you forgot naruto.
99.99% musical filler.
0.01% fight.

Heavenly Demon • 8 months ago

When there was a fight in naruto, they totally focused on the fight. Naruto vs Sasuke was just an 1hr episode

3r3v0s • 7 months ago

this! Naruto is filled with fillers but at least they respect the fights enough to put focus in them, not drag them over a season making rewatching them impossible

banana55 • 8 months ago

At some point I skipped forward in Naruto. But naruto, while one of the big three, is not close to One piece in my opinion. Which makes it all the more disappointing

Kei • 7 months ago

Big three like, OP, Dragonball and HXH?

banana55 • 7 months ago

Oh god I hope you are joking.
Either way it is OP, Naruto and Bleach. Some people like to add DragOnBall-z and call it the big four.

Kei • 7 months ago

is naruto and bleach worth watching??..I haven't watched those.

banana55 • 7 months ago

I would recommend at least trying them for 30 or so episodes to see if you like them.(they are both way shorter than OP).

Note that you should watch it with a filler guide because they have lots of fillers.

Lastly, I would recommend Bleach over Naruto.

Kei • 7 months ago

Thanks for your points and recommedations.

3r3v0s • 7 months ago

Naruto is on a different tier of fight quality alltogether, more original, strategical, tactical and with clever twists.

banana55 • 7 months ago

I like story, worldbuilding and power systems over pure fight chirography so I like onepiece more than naruto.

3r3v0s • 7 months ago

Besides the War Arc, which Naruto fights stretch over 30-50 episodes and have literally FULL episodes where nothing new is happening? Literally none! When a fight is happening in Naruto the episode focuses on said fight, Naruto vs Sasuke, Naruto vs Pain, Jiraya vs Pain, Sasuke vs Deidara, Sasuke vs Danzo, Sasuke vs Itachi, Bee vs Kisame, all these fights may have a flashback or two but they start and finish in 1 to 3 episodes usually, this overstretch is purely a One Piece specialty

Fuck off.

A Sparrow • 8 months ago

One Piece is one of those animes where you're meant to watch consecutively in a binge. It doesn't make as much impact on a monthly or weekly basis. But on an hourly basis? It'll feel like nothing. We're just mad cause we wait so long.

Zekkon • 8 months ago

This is becoming some Dragon Ball Frieza level of stretch with the planet taking 10 episodes to explode with less than a minute left lmao

Mr.Cookie • 8 months ago

I guess they stretch it to next year

Lawless • 8 months ago

lol just like DBZ ..Namek had 5mins until destruction...we had about 20 episodes lmao

Next episode, the punch will move another inch forward after flash back to the beginning of the punch.

Ngood Best • 8 months ago

😂😂😂

Monkey Dollar. Luffy • 8 months ago

Toei is really tryna squeeze as much money as they can with G5 before it ends

Solar • 8 months ago

And let’s not forget about all the damn shit they’ve been pulling with the recap episode specials😩

Serif Mango • 8 months ago

those won´t be the last recaps in the wano arc. they will somehow manage to stretch the wano arc until the end of this year

Divinedragn • 8 months ago

no doubt about it....from the elephant zombie to every single person in the castle they wont even wrap this fight up in a bow for xmas

Unicorn Justice • 8 months ago

Just me again. Here to tell you, it's really just about giving Oda time to draw up the story. We are basically in Egghead, in terms of story progression and that arc hasn't even been completed in the manga yet. If you go to see how long Wano was in the manga and how far Wano is now, compared to Egghead Arc and where we are in the anime atp, then we are far closer to catching up to the manga, than when wholecake ended in anime and where we were in the manga. So all Toei is doing is stretching it as much as possible, so OP doesn't have to go on break for half a year. Sadly so, but it is, what it is...

sneakykillsNL • 8 months ago

they're better off going on a 1 year hiatus

Unicorn Justice • 8 months ago

is what you say, but matter of fact the show would lose too many followers - THAT would cost a lot of money.

You could just as well go on a 1 year hiatus with one piece and come back to watch about 50 episodes, after

ShadowDivz • 8 months ago

You are GREATLY underestimating how damaging a 'cooldown' period is.

We are in the middle of Gear 5 hype. I've ordered a Kaido (dragon form) figure and a gear 5 luffy figure. G5 Luffy is in One Piece Treasure Cruise (and the other mobile game i can't remember). He's DLC in Pirate Warriors 4. The smart move is to milk the living hell out of this.

Notice how nobody is talking about Boku no Hero? When Netflix pulled the BS they did with Jojo Part 6, nobody talked about it even when the episodes were all available. I didn't even want to watch it until all episodes were available and Jojo has always been a weekly thing. That's why the to be continued meme was so good. Because you just couldn't wait for next week.

I feel like One Piece, like Bleach and Naruto back in the day, work better in a weekly format.

Million • 8 months ago

I agree with you, but, pre-time skip pacing vs post ts pacing feels so different. It's why I started reading the manga once I caught up. Watching weekly isn't exciting, because they drag it. Just make it seasonal or by arc, when an arc finishes animate it... this gives them time to work on it make it fairly concise and do hype marketing.

Honestly, for people catching up to one piece, look for things like one pace to dramatically reduce time wasted. Sure they cut some stuff but if you're already reading the manga it's just better.

That said, I couldn't miss wano, since it will take for them to catch up...

ShadowDivz • 7 months ago

I think the pacing post time skip is because the anime catches up to the manga fairly quickly. So they gotta drag it out.
The pacing in fishman island will drag at parts, and then other parts are really smooth with consisting pacing. I think One Pace is fine after the timeskip. Before it? I feel like people will miss out on some crew bonding moments.

I don't know what the hell is going on with Toei, but it is what it is. I think making a break like a seasonal anime would be perfect for the FINAL One Piece arc.

xX><Xx • 7 months ago

In my opinion the worst was actually when they were standing on the roof during Enies Lobby and they shoot the flag and spend like 5 episodes going through characters' backstories in mid jump. That was actually as bad as the exaggerations people are making here.

idk • 7 months ago

good for you being a good little consumer giving them money no matter how stretched out the cointent you get is.

ShadowDivz • 7 months ago

Stretching out is irrelevant to how much you like certain characters, dude.
Not my fault, you're poor.

idk • 7 months ago

if those 50 episodes only contain about 1 hour of good stuff and the rest filler then it aint worth it

PhantomZero198 • 8 months ago

You know damn well that they're going to do filler after Wano so it's kinda pointless to still stretch the arc even more

3r3v0s • 7 months ago

they should make it seasonal, would actually make it fun to watch without scrolling the episode with the ''->'' button constantly....

That was in the manga, wasn't really a stretch.

Solar • 8 months ago

It makes me mad right now that These people are delaying the climax, I SWEAR THEY’RE SADISTIC!

Pssss...psss.... • 8 months ago

Yes seriously my hype decreases when animes strech so much with horrible pacing...thats really annoying and if it was some other anime except one piece i would have dropped that long ago...

Coldplay23 • 8 months ago

the artists prob all think the same thing but their leadership keeps seeing dollar signs in their eyes.

artist: sir can we please end this already?

Executive: No, we can stretch out the punch one more month, quick throw in a recap epsidoe

krisstoof • 8 months ago

They didn't stretch this. It is exactly how it was in manga.

ShadowDivz • 8 months ago

Complain first; facts later(maybe)
